 Monitor receptionist’ personnel to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure



Inspects all VIP rooms prior to arrival



Liaise with other departments and necessary outside contracts to ensure excellent service delivery



Oversee maintenance of efficient repeat guest history system



Promote Inter<br>-Hotel sales and in<br>-house facilities



Solicitation of MAS member applications



Attending to special requests by guests



Develop and implement guest telephone contact systems



Handle guest complaints and refer them as necessary, follows up on corrective action



Appraise appearance, discipline and efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediate remedial action if necessary



Organize and conduct regular meeting for all front desk staff to facilitate communications and smooth operations



Prepare efficient work schedule for front desk staff, arranging holidays and vacation, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals or departures



•Works with Superior and Human Resource Manager to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive. Duties include:oAssists in planning for future staffing needs oAssists in recruiting in line with company guidelines oPrepares and administers detailed induction program for new staffoAssists in maintaining a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standards and procedures and oversees their implementationoEnsures training needs analysis of front desk staff is carried out and training programs are designed and implemented to meet needsoProvides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelinesoCoaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performanceoRegularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations



•Works with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget. Duties include:oAssists in co<br>-coordinating the preparation of the departmental annual budgetoControls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget



•Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same



•Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures



•Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly



•Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers•Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:College Degree or aboveLANGUAGES: Vietnamese
- Excellent level, written & spokenEnglish
- Good level, written & spokenSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Computer SkillsWORK EXPERIENCE IN OTHER COMPANIES (IN CASE OF EXTERNAL SELECTION): 2 years in the hospitality industry in a similar position in a 4 star, deluxe hotelWORK EXPERIENCE IN ANYA HOTEL (IN CASE OF INTERNAL PROMOTION):1 year in the same position in hotels of similar category and services.
