Quality Supervisor For International Company In DIY Sector

You will work under the Quality Manager and in cooperation with the Merchandising team to ensure that finished goods are in line with buyer’s requirements, company quality standards and that a perfect quality control is carried out before shipment.You will be leading a team of 4 to 5 Quality Controllers and will be in charge of organizing internal and external inspections, both in line during production and final prior to shipping as well as following up the production schedules provided by suppliers.Your tasks will include launching tests with 3rd parties and collecting technical documents to constitute quality files for all products selected. You will monitor and validate the golden sample process prior to production launch. You will be responsible for the control of inspection reports, the supervision of any necessary re
-work and re
-inspection and the issuance of final shipment release certificates.You will also be responsible for the redaction of audit reports and factory visit reports and will control that factory quality systems and social systems meet with company requirements. You will report to Quality Manager in case of any anomalies and implement improvement plans with factory management.You will be in charge of organizing and maintaining weekly reports to the Quality Manager, team schedules and quality and inspection files, setting priorities as required by Quality Manager and company goals.You will also be in charge of leading supplier relations regarding quality requirements; updating and informing suppliers of new & revised regulations, changes to buyers’ requirements and changes to company policies as well as keeping the Quality Manager informed of any issues during production.You shall have the ability to propose and discuss technical solutions with Quality Manager and Merchandising team in case of quality problems with products.Other duties as assigned by management.The position will be based in QUY NHON with frequent travel to factory locations to supervise production and inspections

-Minimum 28 years old with at least 4 years’ experience in quality control and inspection, particularly in the fields of outdoor furniture, pottery & ceramics or other DIY product categories
-Good command in English (spoken and written)
-Computer literacy (Excel, Winword… )
-Experience in leading a small team
-Good planning skills.
-Excellent problem
-solving skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Perfect organization and team spirit, ability to work under pressure
-Sense of Responsibility, honesty, integrity and enthusiasm are key elements
-University degree would be an advantage
